| 自己紹介 | I moved to Japan from Canada with my family in 2015. Before coming to Japan, I worked as a business executive in the pharmaceutical and transportation industries and owned my own management consulting company for many years. My specialties were strategic marketing planning, sales training, and continuous improvement. I have a master’s degree in business from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, and a Six Sigma Black Belt, so I love to talk about business, business strategy, and marketing and sales. In addition to working at Noah Foreign Language Institute, I work as the in-house English instructor for Hitachi employees in Tochigi city, I have taught English at Junior High School, and have prepared students for TOEIC, EIKEN, and IELTS exams, as well as teaching business English courses. I have many interests, including; cycling, running, playing piano and guitar, technology, reading, and spending time with my two daughters. I have completed two Ironman Triathlons, and run many full-distance marathons. I hope to run the Tokyo Marathon one day. 2015年にカナダから家族で日本に移住してきました。日本に来る前は、製薬業界と運輸業界で経営者として働き、長年にわたり自分の経営コンサルティング会社を経営していました。私の専門は、戦略的なマーケティングプランニング、セールストレーニング、継続的な改善でした。 トロントのシュリッチビジネススクールでビジネスの修士号を取得し、シックスシグマブラックベルト（製造業を中心とした品質管理手法）の資格も持っているので、ビジネス、ビジネス戦略、マーケティングとセールスについて話すのが好きです。 ノア外語学院で働く傍ら、栃木市で日立社員の社内英語講師を務めています。中学校で英語を教えた経験もあり、TOEIC、英検、IELTSの試験対策や、ビジネス英語コースの指導も行ってきました。 趣味は、サイクリング、ランニング、ピアノやギター、テクノロジー、読書、2人の娘との時間など、多岐にわたります。アイアンマン・トライアスロンを2回完走し、フルマラソンも多数走りました。いつか東京マラソンで走りたいと思っています。 |
